Probably like tons of dumb teenage Dawson’s Creek viewers, I couldn’t get “What’s My Age Again” out of my head for weeks so I bought Enema of the State. I remembered their song “Dammit” from Dude Ranch and figured I might as well grab that also.

I like to imagine all dudes in California have another dude that walks around with them to harmonize odd phrases with each other. as in “hey man. what’s^what’s… going^going… …on?^…on?”

Though Blink 182 seem to use every cliche in the “pop-punk manual” (harmonies, double-time verses, dramatic pauses) you don’t care, which is exactly the way it’s supposed to be. Great pop music.

The first couple of days, all I listened to was “Dammit” and “What’s My Age Again.” After more and more spins though, I started taking a shine to every other song on the records. Each song is catchy and consequently, every one grows on you. So much fun.
