I got myself a Cadillac, but I can’t afford the gasoline…
Last weekend, the lady and I watched Zach Braff’s Garden State. We both really enjoyed it. It’s a real solid movie: funny, touching, tragic, but subdued. We were impressed.
I watched Saved again this week. I didn’t enjoy it quite as much as the first time I saw it. I remembered Eva Amurri being less-clothed for some reason…
One afternoon while working, I watched Russ Meyer’s Up again. One of these days, I’m going to pay attention and see if I can figure out what the hell is going on in that movie.
I think I’m going to have to accept that I’m not going to plow through all these books I ordered any time soon. I haven’t touched Simon’s Director’s Cut since last week and I’m swamped in other reading/writing/editing so I don’t have any desire to jump into a book right now.
I taped the new Pam Anderson show, Stacked, but haven’t watched the tape yet (and may not). We’ll see.
Actually, I don’t think I watched much TV this week (or at least, I haven’t watched too many TV shows). Between taxes and my own projects, I’ve been occupied. I did go over to Dave’s house on Tuesday. He fed me some delicious grilled chicken and pork and we watched Scrubs and laughed a whole lot.
Todd K and I ponged on Tuesday as well. We each won a set 2-0 and then I won the championship set 2-1. It was some intense pong though.
