You know, I don’t think I’ve ever blogged about one of my favorite movies, Groundhog Day. Such a total classic. When I worked at Blockbuster one groundhog day, I put the movie on repeat. Then I went in the manager’s office. I don’t think my CSRs appreciated that.

The movie is a landmark. Bill Murray turns in a classic role. And Andie MacDowell is actually not as wooden as usual. In fact, I like her performance. This may be in part because Chris Elliot lays such an egg in his role that everyone else looks amazingly competent. But it may just have been a perfect role for her.

Anyway, I would sit down and watch the movie right now, but I’m going to a show for the first time in weeks.
