Reading Lord of the Rings. Deep into the second book. Working on my Cliff’s Notes of the whole story. Would be hilariously entertaining if I were serious about doing it. Here’s a sample I wrote when trying to describe where I was in the story:

They made it to the something-or-other kingdom thing and convinced the old king to start fightin’. But it all happened really quickly and didn’t really scan to me. Like did I miss something or did Gandalf just say ‘your right hand man is a douche’ and the old king was all ‘totally!’ and then everything worked out?

I know. I’ve a gift for language.
