Mr. Roboto disses last week’s Scene cover story and the Scene in general:

Now, before you Heather Bird [sic] me (note: “to Heather Bird” means to disregard any and all criticism as petty jealousy), recall that I’ve always loved the Scene, as you can tell from my numerous references to years old articles. I sincerely hate that nothing seems to be clicking over there right now, and it’s weird to watch them try so hard to get back on track. It’s like watching Year 2004 R.E.M. trying so hard to sound like 1986 R.E.M.
