One of the things I like about Lady Jesus is how easy she makes it to eavesdrop on her. I don’t think it’s even technically “eavesdropping” because her personal phone conversations (of which there are many) are held in a normal speaking voice.

But anyway, that’s not what makes it easy. What makes it easy is that I know exactly what’s being said on both ends of the call because LJ repeats everything the other person says in question form. For example:

“Hey”
“You already went to lunch?”
“Oh, you went after the meeting?”
“You had the fish?”

It’s very convenient. But dull.
