Day 3 Wrap-up
I did not make it into the Mythbusters panel. So after a last look around I headed home feeling relatively fulfilled.
Here’s the summary:
I stood in a ridiculous line for The Office — didnt get in. I caught Terminator and Pixar panels. Loved Pixar; still don’t get why there exists more than one Terminator film. (I think even as a kid I’d have clammored more for sequels to Commando or Raw Deal.) Then I hit the floor again.
I bought a “Mandy” book from Dean Yeagle, my favorite Playboy cartoonist and got him to autograph it. Checked out the line for an Elvira autograph and picture and opted not to wait. Got a picture, swag and autographs from SuicideGirls. Checked out everything I could on the floor again. And again. Pretty sure I saw Patton Oswalt wearing the weirdest jacket ever. Picked up 100 Girls (not the book of pin-ups you might suspect) by Adam Gallardo and Todd Demong. Love the art. Talked to the guys. Picked up many cards with websites to check out.
Then I stood in line for the Mythbusters.
So I think I did a decent job of seeking out old favorites and discovering new ones. As I mentioned the Con is so overwhelming that it was difficult for me to find a place to jump in. But I found some balance. Already thinking of pre-registering for next year.
I did not take a picture of yesterday’s apple but there was one. And a sandwich.
