MPAA wants to spy more despite record-breaking year

Via Cory at Boing Boing comes this great analysis of a record-breaking year in the movie business, Piracy once again fails to get in way of record box office.

Contrast this with the MPAA’s claim in the letter they erroneously sent me: “movie theft damages our economy and costs thousands of Americans their jobs.”

Uh huh.
