I read Justice League #1 today

justice-league-1It’s the first of “the new 52” — the 52 rebooted DC comics. Rebooted as in Batman and Superman haven’t met yet. It owes a pretty tremendous debt to Frank Miller’s vision of Batman and the Justice League from All-Star Batman and Robin. And since Jim Lee drew both All-Star and Justice League #1, it’s easy to feel like this world is familiar.

As first issues go, it’s a decent first issue. A bunch of action. Batman hates Green Lantern. Superman’s red chonies are now gone. I’m more interested in the Batman family reboots. So I’ll be picking them up later this month.
