Several weeks ago now, Allen and I got together for a drum session in our ongoing studio sessions. Allen had laid down a few drum tracks prior to me arriving. We discussed ideas. I told him what I thought worked. He had a pretty tight arrangement on Out The Other already. I think he tried another take or two but I’m pretty sure we kept the take he’d done before I even arrived. I added bass. We had ideas to add an electric guitar or possibly a keyboard to the song.

Allen sent me rough mixes and I like it without anything else. Just acoustics, voices, bass and drums. It’ll be the next single I release.
