#8: Finish your story, let go even if it’s not perfect. In an ideal world you have both, but move on. Do better next time.

I know so many people (musicians and other creative folks) who are just petrified of letting go of that imperfect creation. It’ll never be perfect. You have to let go. Put it out in the wild. Let it start its life. I’d rather write 1000 good songs than one perfect one.
