New Bullshit Spam

On Tuesday morning, I got an email from a contact form on one of my websites.

Subject: A Graphic about the Digital Music Industry
From: Sarah Thompson Sarahlt.06@gmail.com

Hi There,

I’m a part of the design team at Music Production Schools, and we created a graphic that takes a closer look at the current state of our music industry. I came across the site and wanted to pass it along in case you had any interest. If so, you can take a look here:

If you like the graphic or think it’s a fit, feel free to share it on the site!

Thanks!

Sarah

Oh interesting, I thought, I’ll check this out later and maybe blog about this graphic.

But before I could, I received this through the contact form on another site of mine:

Subject: Graphic about Microsoft’s failures
From: Julianna Davies juliannadavies12@gmail.com

Hi there,

I’m part of the design team at MBAOnline.com, and we created a graphic that illustrates the 30 years of innovation at Microsoft and their failures along the way. I came across the site and wanted to pass it along in case you had any interest. If so, you can take a look here:

If you like the graphic or think it’s a fit, feel free to share it on the site.

Thanks!

Julianna

What the hell is this? If it somehow isn’t spam or malware, then why the form mail in such a spammy fashion?

Just thought I’d put the word out in case anyone else is seeing this crap.
