Thanks to ToplessRobot, I heard about The Death of “Superman Lives” — a proposed documentary about the Superman movie that Tim Burton was making with Nicolas Cage as Kal-El. I’ve followed trivia about Superman Lives for years mostly because it seems like such a bad idea storm. Cage as Superman? Robot spiders? Brainiac? This costume? Director Jon Schnepp has been following with much more interest and collecting art from the production. If he can overfund his Kickstarter project, he’ll actually shoot scenes from the script. (Although I imagine Warner Bros legal department will have a few thoughts on that.) I’m in. Watch the video and click through to donate.
