I saw my friends The Short Term Melody at Detroit Bar last month and just haven’t been awesome enough to write about it until now.

The band was great. They’ve been playing pretty frequently in advance of their new record being completely mixed and released and it really showed. I played with them at Viento y Agua back in November and they really rocked the coffee shop. At Detroit Bar, they were loose and loud and having a good time and that came through in the music. They’re playing a big show at Alex’s Bar on March 28th which should continue the trend.
