Honestly, I didn’t know the Doubleclicks before this morning when I was looking for panels to attend today. I think I’d heard one of their songs somewhere. They were part of a “nerd rock” panel that took place immediately before which I didn’t see. They’re more of “nerd folk.” They sang a bunch of funny, nerdy, cute songs that they play on ukulele, guitar and cello. It was charming and sweet and the audience really got into that. It’s cool to see that kind of greater acceptance for “nerd rock” — whatever that may be.
