You know what else really happens at comic cons? Comics. Truckloads of comics. Every year I hear the complaint that Comic Con (meaning San Diego) is all Hollywood now. It’s true that the big previews and all the Slave Leias get the attention but behind that glitz, it’s all comics. The majority of panels are about comics and the exhibition hall is full of comic books and their fans. This is true of every comic con. They’re about comics.
