The paperback of good.simple.open (my new book) is available
When I started the good.simple.open project, I wanted to test the waters of Kindle Direct Publishing and make a cool, pocket-sized version of the book. Now, both a Kindle version and that cool paperback exist.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve also been minutely tweaking (some might say iterating) the website goodsimpleopen.com. I want it to be “just enough” to tell people about the book and provide them ideas, tools, and resources. I am pretty happy with the status right now.
When I was finishing up the formatting of the paperback edition(s), I made a comment to my girlfriend that it’s great to write a book but authors who don’t ever go through the physical making of a book miss out on a really fun part of the process. I have been so excited since receiving the books yesterday. I haven’t been able to keep my hands off them. I just keep picking them up and paging through them, still evaluating the typefaces and layout of the book.
I had so much fun doing this one that I want to re-publish my novels as Kindle editions and pocket-sized books. I’ll keep you updated on that.
And if you’re wondering about the non-pocket-sized paperback in that photo above, that’s the special 6″x9″ edition that I have made for donors to my GoFundMe campaign. It’s not too late to get one of those special editions for yourself.
