Sunday retrospective: Catch up on my Comic Con coverage

With San Diego Comic Con starting on Wednesday, I thought I’d dig through the archives for some comic con coverage. I started going to comic conventions in 2008 when I moved to California. I wasn’t so serious about photographs when I started going but since then, I’ve gone through many cameras and learned to shoot better.

Start the trip through the my con coverage with the most serious photos I’ve ever taken: the time I brought a RED EPIC to Comikaze.

Then check out my latest photos from WonderCon in April. I thought I took some good pics at Comikaze last year as well. And Day 3 of SDCC 2013, brought some good pics. I took my best pics at Day 3 of SDCC 2014 as well.

In 2013, I went to my first DragonCon.

In 2012, I had an action-packed first day at San Diego Comic Con and then I went to see Willie Nelson in a bar.

2009 was an extremely eventful San Diego Comic Con for me. I watched Watchmen with Zach Snyder. I saw the Mythbusters panel. And then I got swine flu.

I can’t even pick out a favorite post from Emerald City Comic Con in 2013. It was all so great.

Check out all of my comic convention coverage.
